The rooms and suites we were shown all has either side Nile views or full Nile views and the newly refurbished rooms are beautiful and would please anyone who had just completed a Nile cruise and had decided to stay for a few days or a week at the Sonesta.
The Sonesta has a fully equipped gym and full spa facilities and the staff are very attentive and friendly.
We know from experience that the food is excellent so we would have no hesitation in recommending the Sonesta St. George Hotel Luxor for a great second week stay for anyone taking a Nile cruise and Stay arrangement.
After an excellent dinner we were driven back to the Maritim Jolie Ville were we took advantage of an early night as the following day we were due to drive from Luxor to Aswan stopping on the way at Kom Ombo Temple.
