UPDATE 20 November 2009
We are off on our latest trip to Egypt on the 23rd of November and we’ll be posting daily reports, audio files, photos and video as we go along.
Or…
…we’ll certainly be trying each of those methods to see what works effectively AND what wont’ cost an arm and a leg! We will be using TWITTER as much as possible to upload text and pics, so please see our Twitter window on the right hand menu bar or visit our Twitter page at www.twitter.com/NileCruises.  If we can upload a short daily video then we will but we’ll have to see if we can access free wi-fi or at least reasonable wi-fi facilities. We’ll also be uploading audio on the Nile Cruise Podcast page
You should be able to find our latest videos on the main page of the blog and you can also listen to our daily audio reports on this page (below).
If we can upload the video footage easily you can also see all of our videos as they are created on our YouTube Nile Cruise 4u channel.
This is the first time we have undertaken trying to communicate with this blog as we go along so we hope it works! So fingers crossed.
We’re taking an iPhone, a Flip HD Video Camera, a Zoom H2 sound recorder and a digital stills camera with us and we’re going to try and upload something every day. But…it will be a bit of a learning curve for us too. However I think it’ll be a lot of fun trying.
We’re going to be using various platforms, web facilities and websites to accomplish all this including Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Vimeo, AudioBoo, Flickr and others. I’ll let you know during and after how easily each one are to use and I’ll be adding to this page before we go letting you know how things are going.
Hopefully we’ll at least bring back a whole bunch of content we can use to add to the main Nile Cruise 4u website and we might also be able to communicate with anyone interested as we go along.
Thanks for the pingback
