I have just posted details to the main Nile Cruise website of a wonderful holiday to Jordan, The Dead Sea and The Red Sea that includes a visit to the Rose Red City of Petra.

You would fly from Gatwick and spend 3 nights at the 5 Star Kempinski Dead Sea Hotel followed by a further 4 nights at the excellent Kempinski Aqaba Hotel.
