I really think that the cruises we are offering on the excellent Movenpick Royal Lily are some of the best cruises we have listed over the last few years.
The most luxurious ships are the Alexander The Great and the Oberoi ships but for value for money and luxurious surroundings then the Royal Lily is a bargain.
These luxury cruises are not the cheapest. You can always get a cheap Nile cruise and if budget dictates then you have no choice but to look at the budget end of the market. However for most people a Nile cruise is a once in a lifetime trip so why not do it in style?
I always think that as long as I have the money available then I want to stay in surroundings that are as nice as possible. In other words if the accommodation isnt’ as nice as the surroundings of my own home then I’m not interested. I want my holiday to feel “special” and as I’m going to spend a week in those surroundings why not book something that I feel really happy and impressed with?
Obviously it’s different if I’m booking a trekking holiday or visiting a country where the accommodation standards are lower than some other more developed countries. But cruising? I like to have as luxurious surroundings as possible.
The most luxurious ships are in the £2000 to £3000+ price range and out of the reach of most of us but ships like the Royal Lily and the Royal Viking are excellent alternatives and ones that I’d be happy to spend a week on.
Our lead in prices for July start from £860 depending on the flights available on the different dates.
