In last Sunday’s Observer Travel Section I read Mike Carter’s article about the “Do Lectures“. Mike is cycling around the coastline of Britain and his weekly reports of his progress have been “must-reads” for me. I’m a frustrated touring cyclist really.
In last week’s report Mike told us about how a serendipitous moment led him to attend the “Do Lectures” which are held in front of an invited audience in a tipi (yes a tipi) and are given by invited speakers from around the world.
From Mike’s reaction it was almost like his attendance had changed his life so I Googled the “do lectures” and found their website.
I wont’ try and explain what the Do Lectures are about but if you are the least bit intrigued I urge you to visit their website at http://www.thedolectures.co.uk
You can download the lectures to your iPhone or iPod from their Podcast, found on iTunes, or watch them directly from the website. Brilliant, challenging and fascinating. Please take a moment to visit the website.
