The Royal Viking Nile Cruise Ship

What are the Nile Cruise ships like?

Royal Viking Nile Cruise ShipWell, there are various “levels” of Nile Cruise ships available to you and in Chapter 3 of the Free Nile Cruise Guide you will be able to read more about the various options open to you when you book your Nile Cruise.

Essentially most people will cruise on a 5 Star ship such as the “Da Vinci“, the “Domina Prestige” or the “MS. Stephanie” the complete images and descriptions of which can be seen on the Nile Cruise Ships page on our main website.

You might, however, choose to cruise on one of the wonderful superior and deluxe Nile Cruise ships such as the 5 Star Superior “Royal Viking” or the 5 Star Deluxe “Alexander The Great” and we would be delighted to arrange for you to cruise the Nile on any of the many deluxe ships that are available.

To give you an overview of what you can expect from your Nile Cruise vessel we’ll use the 5 Star Superior “Royal Viking” as a “typical” example. Continue reading “The Royal Viking Nile Cruise Ship”

Nile Cruise and Cairo

nullA lot of people ask us about the various options we can offer that would include a visit to Cairo whilst they are in Egypt.

We’ve got some great Nile cruise offers over the coming weeks but we can also offer you some great arrangements that will allow you to visit the Sphinx and the Pyramids up in Cairo.
For instance we can offer these different arrangments that you might not have considered:
  • 1 week Nile Cruise and Cairo from Gatwick or Manchester that will give you a great 4 night Nile Cruise plus 3 nights in Cairo where you will be able to visit the Pyramids, the Sphinx and the Egyptian Museum where you can see the fabulous Tutankhamun collection. • Nile Cruise and The Pyramids

The PyramidsI thought I’d add a short post to emphasise the fact that “you will not see the Pyramids or the Sphinx whilst on a Nile cruise“.

A small number of people think that if they take a Nile cruise they will be able to visit those two great wonders of the world without realising that a Nile cruise takes place about 400 miles away from Cairo where the Sphinx and the Pyramids are located.  Unfortunately that’s a long way away and although you will have a wonderful time cruising the Nile you will need to look at some of our other tours if you would like to add Cairo to your trip.
