We often get bookings from customers who either live overseas or a citizens of other countries and last week we were delighted to organise a Nile Cruise for two clients from Romania.

They found our website after searching for “nile cruises” on Google and then emailed and called us.  They were making their own way from Bucharest to Luxor and we were able to package together a cruise on the MS. TiYi, a deluxe Nile Cruiser and we also arranged a couple of night hotel accommodation either end of the cruise.

I’m always thrilled with the power of the Internet, especially as I am old enough to remember when it didn’t’ even exist!  To be able to market to clients from all around the world is just amazing.

I spotted this article on the http://www.ansa.it website.  Which is an Italian news site in English.

Apparently they are creating the River Nile in Turin’s Egyptian Museum.  If you read the description of what they are going to do it sounds brilliant.

In fact, if you are thinking of taking a Nile Cruise and are visiting Turin over the coming months it may be an ideal place to visit to give you a feel for what you can expect when cruising the Nile.

We’re based near Liverpool who’s own museum has a great Egyptian collection but apparently Turin’s is the largest collection in the world.

As part of The Cooperative Limited we have access to great prices to other destinations apart from Nile Cruises and every now and then, when we start to get great offers to other destinations we create a webiste to showcase those deals. I came across a great website that has what the site owners call an “Online Safari”.

I’ve mentioned before that one of the least expected things about a Nile cruise is the fact that you’ll see some wonderful wildlife and birdlife as you cruise.

Several past clients of ours have written to us on their return telling us what a wonderful experience it was to see and enjoy the wildlife on the Nile.

If you take the “online safari” you’ll get a feel for what you might see on your cruise.  There’s also a whole section in our Nile Cruise Bookshop of titles that you might want to look at before you travel to help you enjoy your cruise even more.

Plus details in the “Useful Things For Your Cruise” section of the bookshop of the Flip Digital Video Camera that I take with me when I travel.  It’s cheap, portable, easy to use and produces some great, quality footage for the price.
