Nile Cruise Video

Nile River BoatmanI’m trying to edit a video of our recent Nile Cruise and Cairo visit but things have just been too busy here at Nile Cruises 4u to get a good run at it.  Every time I settle in to start with the editing and joining together of the various video clips the phones go!!

Cant’ complain as phone calls are the lifeblood of our business but I’m keen to get the video up on to the website as I’m sure a lot of people will get a better idea of what a Nile Cruise and Cairo trip will entail.

I’m thinking of staying up all night one day and bashing through it but as my eyelids start to droop around 11.00pm each evening my best intentions seem to slip away.

But I’ll get it done asap so please watch this space.

In the meantime here’s a photo I took of the boatman on our trip across the Nile to Kitchener’s Island.

Happy New Year from Nile Cruises 4u

Nile Cruises 4u Skiing!!
This is our last blog post for 2009 so we would like to take the opportunity to wish you a very Happy and Prosperous New Year from Barbara and myself and Nile Cruises 4u.

We have just returned from a great family Christmas skiing holiday in Andorra where our eldest daughter, Sophie, became engaged to her boyfriend Chris.  It was, by all accounts, a very romantic moment with him going down on one knee at the top of the slopes and proposing.

The Sphinx and The Pyramids

I’m currently editing the video footage taken whilst in Egypt two weeks ago with the purpose of creating a 10 to 15 minute video of our whole trip but in the meantime here’s a snippet of our visit to The Sphinx and The Pyramids at Giza. You’ll notice that its’ particularly busy because it was a national holiday whilst we were there.

Watch out over the coming weeks for more footage. If you are interested in taking the same one week trip that includes 4 nights on a Nile Cruise and 3 nights in Cairo please take a look at our One Week Nile Cruise and Cairo page.

The Sphinx and The Pyramids

I used my iPhone’s “Pano” photo application when I was in Egypt two weeks ago to make a series of panoramic landscapes which I’m going to load up onto a seperate page here on the blog.

This first one is a taster and it’s one that shows The Sphinx and The Great Pyramid at Giza. I took it by taking 4 or 5 separate shots and then the “Pano” application threads them together to give you the wide panoramic photograph.
