Awe-Inspiring Nile Cruise

A recent article in The Times described taking a Nile Cruise as “awe inspiring”.

SS Sudan

Apparently Mercel Berlin took a cruise on the SS. Sudan, one of the more unique vessels cruising the Nile saying that the cruise, from Luxor to Aswan “took in some of the most “awe-inspiring, breathtaking and beautiful” sites in the world”.

He also said five of them sites he visited were “on the itinerary, every one of them spectacular, exciting, different from the others”.

The accompanying Egyptologist was “excellent”, he continued, as he was “learned, interesting… and with very good English”.

Almost all of our returning clients tell us that their Egyptologist was excellent, both knowledgeable and friendly.

It’s great to read a recommendation in The Times for what we have long believed is one of the most unique travel experiences available.

We’ve currently got some great saving on 4 and 5 star Nile Cruises but we can also arrange for you to cruise on some of the most luxurious vessels sailing the Nile.

If you’d like to discuss any aspect of Nile Cruising please call either myself, Colin, or Barbara on Freephone 0808 1089 100. We’d love to have a chat with you.

Murder Mystery- “Death On The Nile”

About 6 months ago we toyed with the idea of creating a “themed” Nile Cruise based on a Murder Mystery – “Death On The Nile” type cruise.

Cruise members would “witness” a muder on board and then over the following days they would have to find out who the murderer was.

You may have come across similar “Murder Mystery Weekends” at hotels in the UK. We thought that be actually sailing down the Nile would make the whole concept even more interesting.

As yet we’ve not made any concrete plans but I’d love to hear any feedback as to whether or not you would be interested in booking such a “themed” cruise.

Nile Cruise Book Auction

I saw this auction on eBay. (Click here).

The seller is selling it regularly for £5.50 plus £1.70 postage and packing.

It’s certainly a book that we would recommend and in fact we sell it on the main Nile Cruise website ourselves, just as an extra resource for people thinkg of taking a cruise. Or for those who have booked and want to get a taste of what’s ahead.
