I love TweetDeck, the facility that allows you to see quickly and easily the various people you are following on Twitter.
I know people think Twitter is just a waste of time for people with nothing better to do with themselves but I strongly disagree. If you have any interests at all, whether it be bird watching, cycling or reaggae music, you will defintely find some really interesting people and resources by using Twitter.
You can use Twitter Search and put in the search term that you are seeking and you are bound to find some really useful and fascinating people using Twitter.
If you then add them to your TweetDeck you will be able to see, periodically, the latest Tweet posts that they have made. By doing so you will find a whole bunch of really interesting information and resources that you would otherwise probably not come across.
At college, (all those hundreds of years ago!!) we endured a subject called “Information Technology”, which, in the days when personal computers were not even in existance, was the most boring subject imaginable.
The “Technolgy” bit was fine, but there was no “Information”. I absolutely hated it. But now, using these faboulous developments such as Twitter, etc, etc, Information Technology is the lifeblood of the Internet.
“What’s this got to do with Nile Cruise Photos and Costco?” I can hear you say…

I was reading an article yesterday about the World’s Top Ten “Must Visit” Destinations in a travel magazine. (I know it’s sad being a travel agent all day then reading travel magazines!! But that’s why I am a travel agent).
I ws delighted to read that at number six, after the trips to the Amazon and the Great Barrier Reef, etc, was:
“Of course, you cannot complete your list of top ten travel destinations without visiting Egypt and its pyramids as well as the Nile River where you can enjoy a Nile River cruise“.
I agree wholeheartedly. My first Nile cruise was a fabulous experience and if you are still in any doubt whether you would enjoy such a wonderful trip please take a listen to any of our Nile Cruise Podcast episodes and hear what your fellow travellers thought.
Yesterday was really busy with many callers looking for Nile cruises departing in February. Sadly a lot of departures are now fully booked, the school half-term holidays have made things really tight. March departures are selling really well as many people who would have liked to have travelled in February are moving their departure dates later into March.
If you are looking to travel in February its’ always worth giving us a call in case there have been some cancellations but if you are still thinking of travelling in March or April I would suggest you try and book your Nile cruise as soon as possible in oreder to avoid disappointment.
Please give either Barbara or myself a call on Freephone 0808 1089 100 and we’ll check on any dates you have in mind.
