We receive a lot of enquiries from people hoping to take a Nile Cruise who ask us on which day of the cruise they will see The Sphinx and The Pyramids.

Of course most people dont’ realise that there is a big distance between Cairo, location of The Sphinx and The Pyramids, and Luxor from where your Nile Cruise starts and finishes.  So on a 1 week Nile Cruise, which starts and finishes in Luxor, you will not see  them.

You will see some  of the  most fantastic  sights and you will visit some of the  most wonderful places including the Valley Of The Kings, the Valley Of The Queens , The Temple of Luxor, The Temple of Karmak and so much, much more.

I’ve just been adding some new links on our Nile Cruise Ships page on the main Nile Cruises 4u website.

It’s taking a bit longer than expected as we’ve been busier than we thought we would be in January so I’m building the pages whenever I get a break.

Just added the Fleurette Nile Cruise ship to the page and I’m working on the Da Vinci as a I type this.

Hopefully by the end of next week we’ll have all the ships showing on that page linked to a dedicated page of their own.  Then we can add even more.

What a strange title you might think…

The reason for the title is that for the last few months I’ve been using Twitter (the micro-blogging utility) to post short 140 character posts about Nile Cruising.

My Twitter posts might be details of late deals, perhaps Nile Cruise info or other things that I think people thinking about Nile Cruises might be interested in. It might just be information about the Nile Cruise office and staff.

Anyone who “follows” me on Twitter can see whenever I make a Twitter posting and, if necessary, can act on upon it.

If you are thinking of taking a Nile Cruise or have already booked one then you are probably thinking about buying one or two books about Ancient Egypt of perhaps a Lonely Planet Guide to Egypt to take with you or read whilst you actually cruising. If you take a look at the selection of books we recommend in our Nile Cruise Store you’ll see that there are some fascinating titles. However, although you might wish to buy 2 or 3 different titles the price might discourage you.
