Using WP Blog App

I’m not sure our efforts to grasp the “new technology” is working as smoothly as I hoped.

I’m making regular blog posts using the iPhone WP Blog app but it doesn’t seem to be working 100%.

Some posts appear to have uploaded successfully but a few seem to have gone astray.

Same with Twitter, although most Tweets seem to have got through one or two seem to have “stuck in the system”.

I hoe that by the end of our trip I’ll have mastered it all but even if I don’t I will have a stack of content to add to out website.

Valley of the Kings

Off to the Valley of The Kings. Had a wake up call after a lovely night’s sleep with the most comfortable pillows!

Quick breakfast and we’re off. It’s 6.15 (aagh!) but it’s bright and there is still a lot of activity on the roads as we drive through Luxor.

We’ve been to the Valley of the Kings before but I wanted to go back and use the Pano iPhone app to get a panoramic photo. Hopefully you’ll see the results of my efforts later.

For anyone interested in drinks prices I’ll keep you up to date as I drink them. This effort on my behalf is purely in the name of research as I don’t like alcholol. (Well not very much).

Last night with dinner we has a nice bottle of White wine which cost about £12 and I later had a beer for about £2.50 whilst Barbara had a further glass of White wine which cost about £2.50 too. I would say drinks are about the same as pub prices.

Right, that’s the end of the “educational” portion of this post.

Now I’m going to sit back and have 40 winks before we get to our destination.

Wink, wink, wink, wink, wink…..zzzzz…

On board the Royal Viking.

Arrived at Luxor Airport on time after good flight. Transfer through the airport was smooth and quick and we were swiftly out of the airport and after a short journey by coach we boarded the Royal Viking.

Our cabin, 301, is at the front of the ship (the pointy bit) and is really lovely.

I am really hungry now and we are just getting ready for dinner and then hopefully axrelaxing drink in the bar.

Tomorrow we have an early start as we are off the The Valley Of The Kings and I’ll be videoing as much as I can.

Speak later.
