If your reading this post after finding our website and blog by searching on Google or another search engine and are wondering why you should consider taking a Nile Cruise I thought I’d try and put a few points across as to why you would enjoy cruising the Nile. So here goes…
It’s a great mix of “activity” and “relaxation. Often you hear people saying, “I’m not a beach-type person”, or “I cant’ stand just lying on the beach”, or “I need to be out doing something”. Well a Nile Cruise is really an ideal solution. Why? Because it’s almost a perfect mix of the two. Each morning of your cruise you’ll have the option to leave the ship just after breakfast to take one of the “built-in” excursions to explore and find out more about the various temples, archaeological sites or tombs that, over the week, will help you build up the fascinating picture that is “ancient Egypt”. Most excursions will last for 3 or 4 hours and you’ll return to the ship invigorated and exercised, both mentally and physically. (Dont’ worry you wont’ be climbing hills and striding out for miles!!). Then, after freshening up and having a leisurely lunch, you’ll be up on the sun deck relaxing on a your sun bed or taking a cooling dip in the pool whilst your cruise ship sails leisurely down the Nile. After a relaxing afternoon on board you’ll get ready for dinner in the ship’s restaurant and then enjoy a relaxing evening in the lounge, enjoying one of the evenings of entertainment or sitting out under the stars on the sun deck enjoying a cool drink and chatting to new found friends. the perfect combination of “activity” and “relaxation”. I’ve just completed our first “Latest Nile Cruise Offers” video, which you’ll see below.
It’s really an experiment using our new Flip Digital Video Camera and a service called Overlay.TV which allows you to create videos and “overlay” clickable links to a destination of your choice. In other words I was able to “overlay” a “clickable” bubble which you’ll see as the short video plays which says “Click Here for more information…” When you click on it it takes you to the page on our main Nile Cruise website that contains further details of what I’ve been talking about in the video.
Clever eh? And it’s a free service. If you have an online business and use videos to market your business you might want to take a look.
Anyway, the video is my humble attempt at telling you, face to face so to speak, about the best priced Nile Cruise offers we have over the next 2 weeks. The prices are remarkable…£399 for a one week full board cruise aboard the 4 star “Fleurette” and £459 for a one week full board Nile Cruise aboard the 5 star “Da Vinci”. Both with a full excursion programme included. Departures are from Gatwick and Manchester on the 12th and 19th of January. (Manchester departures are £40 extra).
If you would like to know more about either cruise please call either Barbara or Colin on Freephone 0808 1089 100.
I’ve just up-dated a whole bunch of Nile Cruise offers on the main website and I’m going to be adding the prices of the two new ships I mentioned in the previous post, the “MS Stephanie” and the “MS Monica“.
In the meantime if you would like a price on either of these excellent Nile Cruise ships please call me on our FREEPHONE number, 0808 1089 100.
