Do not drink the tap water. You can use it to wash and shower but you are advised not to drink it. You should only use bottled water to drink. You will find it slightly cheaper to buy in the various shops on-shore than buying onboard normally and if you are on an “all-inclusive” basis remember to order your water at times when the “all-inclusive” option is operable. You may not drink a lot of water at home but make sure you do in Egypt. It is very easy to become dehydrated if you don’t.
