An excellent alternative is the Jaz Royale Deluxe Nile Cruise ship.

It has a great reputation for service and the ship is beautifully set out.

Here’s a video that we created about the Jaz Royale that we have featured before on the blog but I thought it might be good to let you see it again if you are thinking of travelling in October and November and cannot get onto the MS. Monica.

We are able to offer a great range of Nile Cruise ships ranging from great value 4 star ships such as the Viking III or the Fleurette to absolutely beautiful deluxe ships such as the Alexander The Great, but of course what normally makes a particular ship “popular” with people is the price thay can get it for.

As with all things you “get what you pay for” so the more you pay for a Nile Cruise the more you would expect to get.  However, I would suggest that its’ slightly different for a Nile Cruise as the destinations that you will visit are the same, (The Valley Of The Kings, The Temple Of Karnak, etc, etc), and you will be travelling on the same stretch of water – the Nile – so really the only difference is the standard of ship and its’ accommodation.

So, depending on what your budget is, then the most “popular” ship for you will be the one that meets your budget.

The only thing I would recommend is that as you may never cruise the Nile again you should try and book the best possible ship for your money.  In other words I think  that if you stretch yourself and book the best ship you can get then you wont’ regret it when your actually cruising and the memories will last a lifetime.

This was normally Apple Mac users and it was impossible for them to download the guide in the format it was in.

So, we have had it converted into PDF format which means all users can download and read it without any trouble at all.

I have created a short Nile Cruise Podcast below explaining what we’ve done with the Guide.

As a matter of interest I created this short Podcast with a great iPhone App called AudioBoo.

AudioBoo is a free downloadable iPhone App that allows you to record your voice in almost any situation, (meetings, interviews with other people, etc, etc) and then upload the resulting audio file to your free account at AudioBoo.

You can then let people hear it on by visiting your AudioBoo profile page or by embedding the Podcast/Audio file in your website or blog just as I’ve done.

I think its’ a brilliant piece of software and I can think of loads of uses for it so be prepared to hear a lot more from me over the coming months using AudioBoo.

I really enjoyed talking with Sarah about the Podcast as she is a very professional interviewer and made the whole process a pleasure. Sarah is a trained journalist and broadcaster having worked in bothe commercial and BBC radio.

I think that a monthly Nile Cruise Podcast is the ideal schedule with perhaps the odd “special” podcast thrown in now and then.

We’ve had some great feedback about the podcasts and they’ve been listened to over 1600 times to date, which I’m really chuffed about.

Well, it was nice getting a positive mention (”It is a good podcast”) but a bit worrying to read that we may have “pod-faded”.
