Nile CruisesI am hoping to produce the Nile Cruise Podcast Episode 6 later this week. I spoke to a returning client on Friday who had just had a wonderful time cruising the Nile on the Oberoi Philae and staying at the marvellous Mena House Hotel in Cairo.

As soon as I can arrange the interview I will add the Podcast to the Nile Cruise Podcast player.

Domina Prestige Nile CruiseWe have been selling a lot of Nile Cruise recently on the “Domina Prestige” and have had a lot of potential clients asking what the ship is like.

I thought I’d take the opportunity to let you know that Episode 5 of The Nile Cruise Podcast is an interview I did with Gwyneth, a customer who’d just returned from a week on the Domina Prestige.

So, to hear an unbiased opinion of what the ship was like and how she enjoyed her week’s cruise why not give it a listen?

Nile Cruise PodcastYesterday I was interviewed by Sarah Rourke of the Audio Pod Artist. Sarah’s aim is is to help solopreneurs and businesses to get their voices into the heads of their prospective clients via podcasting and web audio and I can heartily recommend the site. (more…)

Nile Cruise PodcastYou may have noticed that we now have a new Nile Cruise Podcast player, which you can see in the right hand column.

The new player allows us to place a description about the content of each episode and helps people find the episode that would interest them most.

The player was “built” by ourselves using “Spring Widgets” set-up and I’d highly recommend them if you are thinking of doing the same.

Episode 5. I talk with Gwyneth Willmore about her recent Nile cruise onboard the Domina Prestige. Gwyneth has some tips on dealing with the “Pharoah’s Revenge”, (dicky tummy to you and me) as well as describing her “hair-raising” hot-air balloon adventure!!

We’ve had some really nice feedback recently about the Nile Cruise Podcast which is great and we’re hoping to add a new episode at least every month. If you’ve just returned from a Nile Cruise and you would be prepared to take part in a future episode I would be grateful if you could call me on Freephone 0808 1089 100 and we’ll arrange to set up a time when we can set up the interview with you. Your views and experiences will help someone else to make up their mind about taking a Nile Cruise or will let them know what to expect when they actually travel.

Thanks, Colin

I have just added the latest Nile Cruise Podcast (Episode 5). In it I interview Gwyneth Willmore who has just returned from a Nile Cruise on the Domina Prestige. So if you planning a cruise on the Domina Prestige you might want to give it a listen.

We also talked about the “Phaoraoh’s Curse”, (dicky tummy!!) and Gwyneth’s Balloon Trip Mishap (!!).

Hope you enjoy it.

I was reading an article yesterday about the World’s Top Ten “Must Visit” Destinations in a travel magazine. (I know it’s sad being a travel agent all day then reading travel magazines!! But that’s why I am a travel agent).

I ws delighted to read that at number six, after the trips to the Amazon and the Great Barrier Reef, etc, was:

“Of course, you cannot complete your list of top ten travel destinations without visiting Egypt and its pyramids as well as the Nile River where you can enjoy a Nile River cruise“.

I agree wholeheartedly. My first Nile cruise was a fabulous experience and if you are still in any doubt whether you would enjoy such a wonderful trip please take a listen to any of our Nile Cruise Podcast episodes and hear what your fellow travellers thought.

We’ve just reached the 2000 mark in listeners to our series of fourNile Cruise Podcasts since the first podcast was recorded in October, which is really great.

But…I would love to interview some more of you who have already enjoyed a Nile cruise for future episodes.

So if you’ve taken a Nile cruise on any vessel and with any operator and would enjoy letting other listeners hear what you thought please either email me at colin (at) tarsc.net (my email address has been “altered” here to save it being picked up by spammers so please just change the (at) in between colin and tarsc.net to @), or call me on Freephone 0808 1089 100 and we’ll arrange a mutually convenient time for me to interview you by telephone.

Thanks in advance!

Nile Cruise PodcastI am editing episode 5 of the Nile Cruise Podcast and it should be available and ready for you to listen to early next week.

I think that a monthly Nile Cruise Podcast is the ideal schedule with perhaps the odd “special” podcast thrown in now and then.

We’ve had some great feedback about the podcasts and they’ve been listened to over 1600 times to date, which I’m really chuffed about.

I’d like to ask that if you’ve cruised the Nile before and would be prepared to allow me to interview you for a future Nile Cruise Podcast that you contact me and we’ll arrange a mutually convenient time to get together over the phone.

Clients have told me that being able to hear other travellers experiences of Nile cruising has really helped them make up their minds as to whether a Nile cruise is for them.  So if your passionate about Egypt, especially cruising the Nile please get in touch.
