Reading The Observer Magazine yesterday I was delighted to see an article about Aswan entitled “Aswan – Destination Romance“.
In a series of the most romantic destinations in the world the first one mentioned was Aswan. TV presenter Sarah Beeny described her visit to Aswan at age 19 as one of “the most romantic places I have ever been”. Read the rest of this entry »
I’m currently editing the video footage taken whilst in Egypt two weeks ago with the purpose of creating a 10 to 15 minute video of our whole trip but in the meantime here’s a snippet of our visit to The Sphinx and The Pyramids at Giza. You’ll notice that its’ particularly busy because it was a national holiday whilst we were there.
Watch out over the coming weeks for more footage. If you are interested in taking the same one week trip that includes 4 nights on a Nile Cruise and 3 nights in Cairo please take a look at our One Week Nile Cruise and Cairo page.
We landed back at Manchester Airport on Monday after our week away gathering new content for the main Nile Cruises 4u website and here on the blog.
It was just over freezing when we landed on Monday evening and quite a shock after the fabulous weather in Luxor and Cairo. Quite a few passengers were still in shorts and there faces were a picture as the pilot told them what the weather was like.
Over the coming weeks we’ll be adding lots of new video, audio and photo content to the site so please watch out.
Having posted the video of us landing in Cairo I thought I’d add the short video of our touch-down in Manchester. Dont’ ask why, its’ just for all the aircraft geeks out there!
